Australia has many amazing attractions and events to visit and explore, every state or territory has manmade and narural attractions. That are all interesting in their own special way.
The Great Barrier Reef, Uluru Ayers Rock, the Sydney Opera Houss and Sydney Harbour Bridge are just a few of our very famous attractions.

Road Trip - Explorers Way - Adelaide to Darwin
The Explorers Way is a self drive tour on the Stuart Highway which goes straight up the middle of Australia. This road trip goes from Adelaide in South Australia to Darwin in Northern Australia. You can of course travel from north to south.
You will drive through or past famous towns like Coober Pedy, Alice Springs, Tennant Creek, Katherine and Mataranks etc.
The 'Explorers Way' website is very impressive and comprehensive with plenty of information to help you travel this road and visit the all the attractions and places along the way.
The website includes a great description of the route, accommodation and attractions, events, itineraries, travel tiimes and trips and more local information.

Use Discount Shopping Dockets
When we buy anything we want it to be cheap if possible, shopping dockets or vouchers can give you discounted accommodation, meals, tours etc.
Using either of these websites below you may find great coupons and vouchers for travel and many other possibilities. All areas of Australia are covered.
Region - Flinders Ranges and the Outback
Continuing our road trip we are visiting the region of Flinders Ranges and the Outback. To get to Flinders Ranges and the Outback we travel up the Stuart Highway from Port Augusta, this road trip is called the 'Explorers Way' as described above.
This region includes all these unique and interesting destinations - Coober Pedy, Flinders Ranges National Park, Leigh Creek, The Oodnadatta Track, Hawker, Maree, Roxby Downs, Peterborough, Woomera, Wilpena Pound and Port Augusta

This free mapping tool calculates distances between 2 postcodes that you select. It mmeasures 'as the crow flies' and driving distance in kilometres or miles.
The second link is just for fun, it uses Google earth to show you what is on the other side of the world if you tunneled through from one side to the other.
