Road Trip - The Long Paddock
Echuca Moama to the Broken Hill region.
The Long Paddock is a self drive tour on the Cobb Highway, which was named after the famous 'Cobb' coaches that travelled these roads quite a few years ago.
This road trip goes from Echuca Moama on the Murray River border to Wilcannia in New South Wales which is near Broken Hill and White Cliffs. The journey is a 610 kilometres scenic drive.
The 'Long Paddock' website is very impressive and comprehensive with plenty of information to help you travel this road and visit the area.
The website includes a great description of the route, accommodation and attractions, events, itineraries, travel tiimes and trips and more local information.

When we buy anything we always want a bargain. Online stores like Ebay, Direct Deals and Get Price may help you get that bargain for travel and camping equipment.
Region - Adelaide, Barossa and the Adelaide Hills
After driving along the Murray and the surrounding area in the last newsletter, our next destination is Adelaide, Barossa Valley and the Adelaide Hills region in South Australia. So we leave the Murray River and drive to Adelaide in South Australia.
Adelaide has everything you need on your next holiday, you can relax or party and everything else in between. There is plenty of culture with festivals and arts to enjoy, many shops to indulge yourself in, lush gardens to relax in, all types of accommodation and all sorts of holiday activities and attractions ready for you.
Adelaide is also very close to the coast so you can enjoy some scenic drives. The Adelaide Hills and Barossa Valley are a short beautiful drive away with many scenic tours taking you past many wineries that are famous for some of the best cool climate wines in Australia.
On your way really enjoy the beautiful landscapes that the area is reknown for as well as enjoying the delightful food, wines and coffee.

Google maps are very useful for finding your way to a destination and planning out a road trip. You can mark it out for each destination you drive through and stay at.
The kilometres are calculated and time taken to to drive the distance is calculated. The driving time is an estimate and does not include stops.
