Then there are the harder to get to Australian beaches like Wineglass Bay in Tassie, the Whitsunday island beaches especially Whitehaven beach, Cable beach Broome, Fraser Islands 75 mile beach and of course there are many more for you to explore on your scenic road Trip.


Cape Tribulation Beach - Far North Queensland

Cape Tribulation Beach is a very popular Australia beach for tourists as it is stunning with its calm and crystal clear water. If you want to visit when it is quiet avoid the middle of the day when bus loads of tourists visit.

The beach is sheltered from the winds so it an lovely place to have a dip and be refreshed, remember to look around and remember how special it is. Close by are Coconut Beach, Emmagen Beach, Donovans Beach and Noahs Beach.

Mindil Beach, Darwin Northern Territory

Mindil Beach is best known for its beautiful sunsets and Beach Sunset Markets between May and October where you can experience the amazing atmosphere.

The stalls offer international cuisine, arts, crafts and entertainment. Their unique combination of great food and an exciting atmosphere make a visit a must do when you are in Darwin in the top end of Australia.

The very unique 'Beer Can Regatta' also happens on the Mindil beach, this once a year event is a huge fun event. They really build boats with beer cans and race them for charity.

Glenelg Beach - Adelaide South Australia

The Glenelg Beach is in Holdfast Bay which is only 20 minutes from Adelaide. You an relax on the beach, go to the nearby shops or eat at the local restaurants or cafes. You can also enjoy many water activities.

Greens Pool - Near Denmark Western Australia

Greens Pool Beach is in the William Bay National Park, you will admire the beautiful coast and the wild flowers in spring. Greens Pool is in a stunning location and is excellent for swimming, snorkelling, diving and exploring the rock pools.

There are several walks to do to the nearby bays and to Elephant Rocks. Greens Pool is very close to Denmark, which is about a 5 hour drive from Perth. There are many other excellent Australia beaches along the coast of Western Australia.

Wineglass Bay - Freycinet Peninsula Tasmania

Wineglass Bay is absolutely stunning, it is part of the Freycinet Peninsula. There are three ways to be able to view Wineglass Bay, the first is a 3/4 hour walk from Cole Bay, the second is from the top of Mount Amos and the other way would be from flying over.

It is no surprise that Wineglass Bay has been voted one of the worlds most beautiful beaches, with pure white sand, crystal clear blue water and its famous crescent moon shape and it is one of the most admired Australia beaches.

Norman Bay - Wilsons Promontory - Victoria

Wilsons Promontory National Park is quite often referred to as 'Wilsons Prom' or 'the Prom'. This National Park is located in the south east of Victoria.
