South Australia is famous for its wineries and vineyards in Barossa and Clare Valley, there are over 200 cellar doors waiting for you to open them and sample their wines, local food and to enjoy the charm of the surroundings.
Travelling in the school holidays is always a busy time so it maybe necessary to book ahead your accommodation, tours etc, especially if there is a major event is going to be happening while you are there. If you are not interested in going to the event it can be better to visit the town before or after the event then it won't be so busy. The Australia school holidays dates can differ slightly between schools so please check the school holiday dates at your child's school.
