"Cradle Mountain National Park has a mystic about it that makes you want to explore its amazing beauty. The best way to see and experience is to go for scenic walks around the many sections of the area. There are about twenty walking trails which are graded as easy, medium and hard.

The Dove Lake circuit is regarded as an easy and a stunning walk, takes up to 3 hours and is boardwalked most of the way. The track will take you through the Ballroom Rain Forest, Glacier Rock and past the very much photographed boatshed that is historic and not used any more.

Crater Lake circuit walk is a medium level walk that takes you around Crater Lake which isn't actually a crater but appears to be one because the water is a dark colour, the walk is for about two hours.

Walking to the summit of Cradle Mountain takes about six to eight hours return and of course the view will be magnicent, this walk is regarded as hard and some previous experience is advised."
