Stunning view of Mount Bogong in the 'High Country' region
"You could easily spend a month exploring the the High Country region in Victoria Australia, the range of adventurous, relaxing and exciting things to do is endless. Drive on the 'Great Alpine Road' and travel through the Alps on the highest road in Victoria and enjoy the views and stunning landscapes. The 'High Country' has many things you can do and see like discovering the regions history starting with Ned Kelly and the cattlemen that called the mountains home. In winter all the mountains like Mount Buffalo and Mount Beauty are white with snow, when the snow melts the water rushes down the rivers. Then the wildflowers put on a dazzling display and in autumn at 'Bright' the trees turn to shades of gold, orange and red. There are many types of activities to do like camping in beautiful locations, go four wheel driving and explore every road, then walk, hike and see everything close up, cycle and mountain bike on the trails, this is trout country so have a go at fishing in the rivers, then saddle up and be the 'Man from Snowy River'."

Beautiful sunrise glowing over Melbourne "Imagine floating over Melbourne in a hot air balloon when the sun is rising and creating a stunning view of the horizon and the city. You could look down on Port Phillip Bay, the Yarra River, the city centre and see what else you can spot with your birds eye view. Only a few cities worldwide can be flown over in a hot air balloon so it would be quite an unique adventure experience."

A dramatic view of cliffs on the Great Ocean Road in Victoria "The Great Ocean Road in Victoria Australia is a mix of stunning views, beaches to admire, small coastal towns to explore, rainforests and waterfalls that you won't want to leave, wildlife will pop up occasionally to your delight, you may get very lucky and see a dolphin or whale out to sea and your taste buds will love the food and drinks along the way. The Great Ocean Road has its own very interesting history as it was built by hand only with hand tools, no machinery was used. The digging started in 1919 as a memorial to eveyone involved in the First World War. To help the soldiers re adjust to living back in Australia, three thousand were employed and fourteen years later the Great Ocean Road was opened. The organisers had the amazing foresight to see that building the 'Great Ocean Road' would create a very scenic drive that tourists would want to visit. How clever were they? Now days millions of tourists and locals visit the area every year as it is truly an 'Aussie' icon."
